Thanks for asking.  I feel quite good. We came from Turkey last night. It was sort of a necessary vacation that really hit the spot.

Last thing I really did was: finished editing some stuff, cleaned the table at the work, bought an axe and I felt relieved. I also got some hot kemenche stuff on c-tape from Istanbul. They are in such bad shape that I have to transfer them asap. A cigarette would be nice. I just quit though, so I get some satisfaction of not going to have a cigarette.

Right now I would like to be at the countryside chopping wood with the splendid piece of craftsmanship I got some time ago. Swimming in Aegean Sea wouldn´t be that bad either.

Many things. I do believe that one can learn to play by going to the falls (or crossroads etc.) at midnight.

I would like to believe, for example that there would really exist this hole at the North Pole where one can enter inside the Earth to the a sort of opposite world where the giants live.

It depends. I had some delicious meatballs some time ago with tomato based red wine sauce and rye pasta. Oatmeal porridge with a bit of apple jam and milk also “blows my tattoos to the outer space”, as Mr. Laurila would put it.

Well, I have to admit that I am replying this interview so late that the summer is gone and it went fast; I did some gigs, hanged out at summer cottage, chopped and piled some wood.

Thanks to the cab driver Mr. Khan. He drove me and my friend Lari to the Chicago airport some time ago. It was nice to listen his monologues in the afternoon traffic jam. The topics dealt with conspiracy theories, religion, basic issues of good life, legends and how different kind of music affects one’s brain.
