As a solo i do music under the name of Kulkija. I've been quite inactive with that lately. Most active group is nowdays our new band called Tulasi. Sloow tapes just released tape from us. Sometimes it's duo, sometimes trio. Some people say that it's only about hippie cliche's with "wet wool shirts" i dont know what that expressions means, but it sounds funny. Let your incenses burn. Vapaa/Keijo /& The Free Players is also active but we don't see each other so much these days because everyone lives in a different cities. It have also been nice to play with Uton.  He have been travelling in India more than half a year now. So last time i played with him was in the end of the summer on "Let it be" europe tour with Keijo & The Free Players. When he get back it's nice to see what happends. And oh yes, "Pertsa & Tapsa" cover -quitar duo is also having a good times. Maybe you found P&T playing broken hearted ballads from your local smokey bar someday..

Whats up?

I just got back from Orion. I was checking out a movie called "Käpy selan alla" It was better than i remembered. And now i ate lihatonta hernekeittoa and listen to Veltto Virtanen Kusessa album. And there's also sämpyläs waiting to be baked. So, it seems like everything is ok!

Where are you?

In a small green room.

how would you describe a nice day?

A day when you think that nothing special is coming up.  But  soon after woking up you notice
that a lot of nice things are happening. And in the end of the day you found your self from the place you have never been before.

favorite food?

baked potatos, carrots, onions, soyarouhe and broccoli mixed together with coconut milk.
And Super Malt to drink.

loud or silent?

Mostly in between the loudness and silence.
  
what is successful show?

When you lose your self and music starts to move/live its own way/life. And after the show you can just say that it was totally different than you tried to do, but it was all good.

Last summer Uton's "Magical mystery" European tour i had that experience many times.

what did you listen last?

Now i listen to Veltto Virtanen but before this i listened Jan and Lorraines Gypsy people album.

what are you going to do in summer?


Id like to travel to Spain and Morocco and maybe play few shows during that trip. It would also be nice to do some field recordings..  But if that's not going to happend.. maybe i travell in Finland by bike.. Or spent some weeks in a summer cottage.

  
walk or cycle?


I just got my bikes lock open few weeks ago. Im very happy about it. It was stuck like one and a half year. So now i  rather choose bike than walk.

Walkswim, or how do you call the thing that old ladies do in a swimming hall?

I choose to be free, even that it's almost as hard to be free as a frog or dog for human.
